First Time Abroad

Well I have finally obtained my first passport and am allowed to exit the country. Being in Costa Rica is quite an experience. It is my first time out of the United States ever and I would have to say I am enjoying myself. This was the first day of class and for someone who really hates nature I can admit I learned quite a lot. The end of the day with the round table would have had to be my favorite part of the day. Although we did quite a lot including exploring spider webs and mud puddles the end made it worth it. I got to sit around with my peers and discuss ways to improve agriculture. As someone who grew up in the concrete jungle I have barely seen enough land to plan on much less sustain life and it also helped me understand my upcoming assignments as well. It was a huge eye opener for someone like me who is actually a PSYC studentĀ not based in a scientific field.
